We are excited about an opportunity to serve the students of Montgomery, AL and we hope that you are too. The Capital City Classic Shootout was organized in 2011 as a charity event to raise funds for local public high schools' athletic departments. The charity game was founded by son of the Sidney Lanier’s Assistant Principal the late Mr. Kenneth Williams. Mr. Williams served at Lanier for over 20 years and his son Artavious Williams too believes in this great school and the power of a strong alumni unit.
This basketball playoff style event brings each public school’s best roster of alumni together for an opportunity to walk away with bragging rights for a good cause. Proceeds benefit participating teams.
The 2014 Capital City Classic Shootout will be held at noon on June 15, 2014 at Brewbaker Technology Magnet School. We would like your help.
